Ritual of Sham-e Ghariban of Sayed al-Shohada (A.S.) Held at Razavi Holy Shrine
The ritual ceremony of Sham-e Ghariban (passing the night in darkness) of Sayed al-Shohada (A.S.) was held at Inqilab courtyard of the Razavi Holy Shrine attended by the servants and pilgrims of the Holy Shrine.
According to Astan News, the ceremony of Sham-e Ghariban (passing the night in darkness) of Sayed al-Shohada (A.S.) was held at the Razavi Holy Shrine tonight with presence of Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Alireza Rashidian, governor of Khorasan Razavi, a group of military and civilian officials, as well as pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.).
Servants of the Razavi Holy Shrine in any rank after the evening prayers paced the Shuhada Square toward the Razavi Holy Shrine while mourning and carrying burning tulip-shaped candles and scented mustard in their hands, and gathered at Inqilab courtyard in order to lament on Imam Hussein (A.S.).
Pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.) gathered around the servants of Astan Quds Razavi and after reading Aminullah pilgrimage prayer, joined the mourning ritual for Imam Hussein (A.S.) with panegyrizing of Amir Aref, Kazem Ghulamshahi and Mahdi Nikbakht.
It is worth mentioning that every year ritual ceremony of Sham-e Ghariban of Sayed al-Shohada (A.S.) is held at evening of the tenth day of Muharram al-Haram (Ashura) with the presence of pilgrims and servants of the Razavi Holy Shrine.
